Challenge:
The U. S. Department of State (DoS) specified an Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of their Financial Assistance and Coordination Tracking System (FACTS) Program. This Task Order was awarded to AINS, Inc. and subcontracted to Valued Technology, Inc. (VTI).
The previous IV&V effort for the DoS FACTS Program, from a major contractor, was continuous, expensive, and focused on the minutiae of project management problems with the FACTS Program. The DoS FACTS Program requested a different approach.
Solution:
Valued Technology, Inc's (VTI) senior staff is providing IV&V on the FACTS Program. This IV&V delivery includes 3-4 month sprints of intensive IV&V effort, delivery of the top 4 to 5 project management and technical management issues, and stand down periods of 4-6 months while the DoS works on these identified issues in the FACTS Program.
